Thank you zoo much for sharing all this wonderful news Zookeeper.

Those are indeed great new sets. and I am really interested in the Specials+ some very cool boxes there, I hope we don't see to much of a price increase. I guess it does make sense with the Fi?ures taking more or less the role of the old Specials.

I don't wanna go into Western (more then I already am), but that Superset sure does look nice.

Luckily we have so much good stuff still coming out August/September that the wait for this will be slightly more bareable.

Yay. Another depressingly slapdash knight special!

I really really but really hate those He Man kind of shields they're using. If - as some are saying - they take note of what happens among collectors, why haven't they used the Egyptian shield turned upside down for their knight series?

As for the knights superset, the less said the better.

The indian set is cool though.

What's the new Western Stage Coach? There isn't a clear picture of that.

I like the new clown!  :D I wonder if it's a sign of a new circus theme...I don't think the last one did so well considering the sets lingered around Toys R Us for years and most ended at Tuesday Morning.  ???

Very interesting, and many thanks for the photos!

I was in Germany  last week, but didn't pick up a catalog because I didn't think there was a new one out yet. Bummer.

Anyway, like many others, I think the archer Special is quite good. Not so sure about the 'Axe Knight'.

The 'Knights' Bastion' leaves me in two minds: the bastion itself strikes me as a bit silly, but the blazons on the shields, the new flag and the two men-at-arms on foot looks very nice indeed. I'm always on the lookout for new Playmobil heraldry, and from the picture, it looks like that coat of arms is more realistic, and more in keeping with the style of the Knights/Castles theme that came out this past year.

Anyway, many thanks again for the pictures!

Cheers,

AndrewL

I wonder if that arrow is part of the actual bow mold? And I wonder if these new specials with more accessories will cost more than the other specials?

My guess is undoubtedly they will cost more... though I think we are probably looking at the $4-5 range for them which isn't that bad considering specials are 3.29 from playmobil right now... and usually $4 in the store... but the $3-4 price point will probably be taken over by the mystery figures... which I am fine with... it just means more individual figures each year if they keep doing them all (hopefully that means variety across all themes not "just" more)... and the horse/motorcycle/dog - 6 in a series lines are nice too.
Someday, I will organize my stuff, I promise.
