I had to sacrifie a 4583 torso to put outside the Tabard Inn but I think it was worth it   :) :) :)

Very nice Sir Wolf.

If I remember correctly, that is the Kings Crest. So might I suggest the name:

The Royal Tabard Inn!

Just a thought

Yes I was struggling a lot with the idea of which torso to put....very few had a crest on both sides....
I'd prefer to keep the inn simple... I like the ''Royal'' title but not really crazy about it for some reason....Then again I could use the 3652 trumpeter but his tabard is separate from his torso...have to glue it on.

Oh hold on a minute..... the tower knight in this set (3652) has the coat of arms on both sides....yes that will be the one!!! although its black and not easily spotted....hmmm

Hey!!!! This will do even better!!!!! 30 00 4640 - Hunter, blue suit, shield on chest
Yes definately the one this time!!! I already have four of these klickies and one spare torso...I'll put it to good use!!!!

Thanks Gis for get me going!! All this post is really write as you thing along....

Waste for the 4583 torso though...the signpost does not fit the arm holes, so I had to cut them a bit...now the arm does not hold on... Oh well sacrifices are necessary I suppose...

The inn sign looks good, Panos.  Look forward to seeing the final one.

It was also common to have a brush outside the inn, like this:

You could have one in a torch holder:

on the other corner.

Great find Sir Wolf, seek and you will find!

Brainstorming ideas...

How about painting some spare arms/legs/head with Metallic Silver and Glueing them on. (From the pictures you should have enough spares *wink*.

That way you can make a statue (much like the one from the Museum 3449) but wearing the royal livery. Then it isn't a total waste.

An excellent suggestion Gordon! I might try it! The second link leads to the broom again, although I think I have an idea of which torch holder you might mean... maybe this one? 30 02 8810 - Holder for shield/lantern, clips onto wall
