Hello, Cachalote ...

this should be considered the last day of "mitte mai".  :yup:
nothing new on the .de site ...  :'(
nothing new on other forums ...  :'(
  ::)

I'm beginning to fear that you were correct my friend ... It now appears that the "wonderful secret" set is only the European re-release of Pirate set 5782 ... >:(

The tricorne hat outline that you saw in the "secret" silhouette must have been just as you suspected ... the pirate figure in set 5782 ...  :hmm:

I am so sorry that Playmobil has disappointed you ...  :'(

Hopefully, Zirndorf will have some good "surprises" for all of us in the future.

I'm off to buy a set of Lego! I hope that the folks at Geobra are reading this ...
I'm going to buy a set of Lego !!!

All the best my disappointed friend,
Richard the Promise Keeper

There is still hope :prays:
According to a German member: "mitte mai ist doch am 15ten und für playmobil heißt dass noch etwas später."

Besides, the flyer mentions TWO sets! So ... where's the other  ???

As to the re-release of the American set; for most Europeans it will be the first time they see the set - so to them it's a new set and for a very good price too!

... and then dusk came and brought despair.

Actually they're pretty cool, Jimbo ...

And, if you haven't seen the new "Raiders of the Lost Brick" movie from Lego ...
It's an animated video done in the style of Playmobil's Roman and Egyptian movies.
(I wonder if Collectobart has hired out to Billund?)

Here's a couple more photos from set 7622.

All the best,
Richard the "Noble" Promise Keeper ... ;)

They're indeed very cool, but the old Adventurers theme is still my favourite.

Go Johnny, Go!

And they have pink faces and hands, not yellow ones!

Very nicely done Richard, I mean 'Noble' Richard the Promise Keeper!  That is a nice Lego set, I am going to get the set with the huge jungle clearing bulldozer, such fertile ground for these toys!
