Hello! I'm Fiona, hailing from the West Coast of Canada. I've been a big fan of Playmobil since I was a kid, and had a huge collection for a while. Unfortunately, all my old sets got donated a few years ago when someone got a bit overly enthusiastic about cleaning out the garage (I still wince when I think about it).

So now, I'm starting my adult collection from scratch. Partially for my own enjoyment, partially for when the next generation of kids gets old enough, and partially for the entertainment of my cats (who seem to take a lot of joy in smacking the little plastic pieces around the floor these days).

I've been having a great time finding secondhand Playmobil not in great shape, and trying to get it looking like new again, so it's great to find a forum with so much knowledge and helpful information already available!

There are a few Canadian members on here who may be able to help you track down sets or parts. I'm not sure whether US sellers will be economically feasible for much longer (they aren't really economic for us on the other side of The Pond due to high shipping costs, but they will soon be subject to an orange glow as well, I think).

Hello! More new members is always great! It's a little quiet here usually. My cat also likes Playmobil. :)
