5538 Series 7 Girls - Nun - help needed
« on: November 04, 2022, 19:11:04 »
Hello everyone,

I received today from the postman a 5538 Series 7 Blind Bag Nun (photo attached). The figure wasn't assembled and was missing one arm and the hip part. I have both missing parts in my 'spares' box, but the nun's torso doesn't fit over the hip (second photo attached) and click into place with the arms and head. So, my question is, does the nun Klicky figure have a non-standard hip part or am I doing something wrong when attempting to assemble?

Thanks & Best wishes,
Neil

You're probably using a "male" skeleton, use a "female" one.

Thank you to both of you, I didn't realise that there was a difference (I had never looked closely enough, and I don't have that many female Klicky figures). Off now to source a female hip piece  :)

Best wishes,
Neil

Can anyone suggest a specific recent blind bag (series 21/22) female Klicky figure that I could purchase from eBay that would give me the female hip piece that I need?

Thanks & Best wishes,
Neil

If you go to Tara's website she also has a review of those series and you can see which ones have the female frame.

Basically though it's
top row: 1st, 4th
middle row: 4th
bottom row: 1st, 2nd

middle row: 3rd, 4th
bottom row: 1st, 2nd, 3rd

Exept for the first few series, most figures have the "female" frame...

But I did get some surprises recently. To make sure, better go for a non-pregnant normal female, yes ;)

You can buy just the parts on eBay too. I have used this seller but I'm sure there are others;

(I assume they're the right ones,  I am certainly not an expert)

Thank you everyone for all your help/responses today, I've learned more about Klicky components than I ever knew there was to learn! I've ordered a suitable Klicky through eBay and when that figure arrives, I will post a photo of the assembled nun, her ecclesiastical colleagues and my Playmobil church :-)

And then I will look into taking those promised (and long overdue due to family issues) photos of my tercio :-)

Best wishes,
Neil
