^ It's an illusion hat.

The combination of the colours I used, and the light that day, made the restaurant photos rather glowing.  The klicky is actually wearing an ordinary white headscarf/bandana.  She previously appeared in the background when Toby first entered the zoo.

Part 10: The Children's Play Area!

'Look!' cried Toby, 'this is going to be so exciting!'

'Well, don't race around too much, right after your lunch,' said Daddy.

'Here, let me push you on the swing,' Daddy said.

'Be careful, climbing up there!' said Daddy.

'You should come up here,' a girl said to Toby.

'Wow, that's a big slide,' said Toby.

'I'll show you the best way to go down it,' said the girl.

'Do it like this!' she said.

'Toby! Stop!' shouted Daddy.

'STOP!!'

'Toby, that is so dangerous,' said Daddy.

'I don't like this Play Area,' said Daddy, 'We are not risking you getting a broken neck.'

'Come and have a look at the ducks,' said Daddy, 'And then we'll go somewhere else.'

'Let's go now.'

'Cheer up, Toby,' said Mummy, 'I saw on the map that the Children's Zoo is near here.  We can pop in there.'

'But first,' said Mummy, 'I must try and fix your sandal.  It is worse than ever after that climbing around at the Play Area.  Luckily, I've got some glue in my handbag.'

Oooooo! I wasn't going to buy the water park sets, but I need that slide!!!

As always, wonderful work (but it's going to be hard to beat your Polar Bear exhibit!)
I'm glad that I'm not the only one :)

The red slide is great, but......

In a stand-alone Waterpark, attached to the lower platform, the slide touches the ground:

http://www.playmobil.de/wasserspielplatz/6670.html

If you take the structure off the base, however, it is too long!

It can be attached on-base from the higher platform to a swimming pool, including an older one:

But, off the base, it is still too high to touch the ground, so therefore needs to rest on something, like a sandpit, as I used in the Play Area:

A very nice slide, but can be difficult to use in other scenes.

Part 11:  The Children's Zoo
and: What Toby Didn't See

'I expect there are just a few goats,' said Mummy, 'that's what they usually have at Children's Zoos.'

'Yippee!' cried Toby.

'Look! Look!' said Toby, 'You can buy food to feed the animals!'

'Can I have some animal food, please?' asked Toby.

'Yes, alright,' said Daddy.

'I love goats!' said Toby.

'I love sheep!' said Toby.

'Rabbits!' said Toby, 'I love rabbits!'

'Guinea-pigs!' said Toby, 'I love guinea-pigs!'

'Oh wow!' said Toby, 'There are pigs!  I love pigs best of all!'

'Pigs, you are my bestest favourite animal!'

'Though I love chickens too,' said Toby.

'And cows are quite nice,' he said.

'I love elevators!' said Toby.

'Daddy! Come quickly! Come and see this!' said Toby.

'Look!  There's a model tractor, and even model pigs!' said Toby.

'There are some interesting information posters, too,' said Daddy.

'I don't like information posters,' said Toby.

'I loved the Children's Zoo!' Toby said.

What Toby Didn't See:

The Children's Zoo off-exhibit area.

As well as a pig holding unit, and a field for the grazing animals, the off-exhibit area includes a Hay Barn and goat holding area for those goats awaiting their rotation on exhibit, plus hutches for the rabbits and guinea-pigs.

And a Storage Barn.

And Zookeeper Facilities.

Very beautifull dining area, I like all the little details there.  :)

Nice big play area too, and that little girl reminds me of SO many kids when I was that age. And my parents usually didnt want me playing with kids like that either out of fear I'd do something crazy.
Even though the only time I had an incident at a slide it was because my mom said I'd go faster if I'd go down it on my belly. That advice did not go well with a more diagonal slide and a sandbox causing me to get a mouthfull of sand.
