last one - Reptiles and amphibians

Reptiles Amphibians by Tim, on Flickr

Any of these photos you can click on the link next to them and go see the larger versions on my Flickr account. Obviously if you want to see any individual ones standing next to a klicky for size comparison please feel free to look them up on my website Animobil, where every one in the photos is shown on their own page.

Hint if you ever want to try taking one of these photos yourself: don't bump a dolphin. They fall over and start a chain reaction  :0

Truly incredible! That is just a staggering collection. 8}

I've never seen those coloured baby dinos before - I'm assuming they're customs? If so, fantastic job! They look great.
Life's essentials: food, water, shelter and at least one klicky.

 :(o):  :(o):  :(o):

This is mindblowing! And so much fun to look at!!   I love the 1-2-3 animals in between, they all look startled for some reason, maybe because of the big eyes, heehee.

I was afraid about the chainreaction before you mentioned it...!

Is there a list somewhere of the few rare animals you haven't found yet? For such a marvellous project, I'd love to help. You never know, if I've got one of those lying around, it would be an honour to donate.

P.S. Congratulations with the anniversary of Animobil.   It's such a great help to all collectors.

AWESOME PIC!

(I know all about the "bumping" problem.... I have plenty of accidents on my usual arrival pics)

Amazing collection!

I'm not surprised you had a domino thing happen setting them up for the photo! That's a lot of work!

Thanks for the comments everyone!

Nope, no custom animals on the table at all, everything is an official release, though some are hard to get for various reasons. The baby dinos are from the Funpark in Zirndorf. They are sold in the shop there, and as far as I am aware that is the only place you can get them. I have a topic page specifically about animals that have only been released at the Funpark, it is Here   My favorite Funpark animal ever is the glow in the dark lobster. It's been discontinued since about 2010/11.

I don't have one put together at the moment but it's something I will work on shortly. Mostly it's very old animal mold variations, things like cows with three udders, or the bright Vedes game rabbits in the poses I don't have. Part of this project ended up being a lot of time spent figuring out if something counted as a variation or not, and reconciling my lists of what I have with my official list and deciding if things should be added to the official list or not. As of today I am counting 1157 on my list of all variations ever. Old variations keep popping up from time to time, so there may be more.  As of right this minute my list of animals I don't have is 98.

ditto what she said!

And that display is just mindblowing! Thanks for sharing.
At that moment the ship suddenly stopped rocking and swaying, the engine pitch settled down to a gentle hum. 'Hey Ford.' said Zaphod, 'that sounds good. Have you worked out the controls on this boat?' 'No,' said Ford, 'I just stopped fiddling with them.' (With thanks to Douglas Adams)
