Victorian circus has arrived!
« on: January 22, 2014, 15:44:40 »
Little project within a project: my Victorian town is welcoming a circus  :)

These are some pictures of the big parade in the street.

that's really cute, especially all the kids watching the procession
If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:

Thanks, Rasputin  :)

The hotel guests are curious too:

That was it for the parade. The yellow Romani circus is gorgeous too, but that blue one is precious to me. It's older than I am, and I've played with it soooo many times when I was little

I haven't done the circus show yet. I'm still waiting for some crucial parts and I'm still wondering how to go about the lighting (preferably colored lights or something). If anyone has suggestions, that would be most helpful.

Lovely! Beautiful parade and you've set them up so realistic. So looking forward to the show. I'm curious what your crucial parts are. I allready saw the great big elephant!

Also brings back memories.
I got that circus for my eight birthday (1981) and sold it when I was thirteen. My mom had told me not to, but I wanted the money for a radio. Years (1998) later I told her she was right, and she bought me a 'new' one. I still love love to play with it.
life in plastic it's fantastic

I look forward to the Magician's part of the show in particular.

Thank you for not crossing my sacred corner.

Great parade! I like the way the tent looks with the blue ring. For lighting you could use colored Christmas lights.

Wonderful parade with great details. As I looked through your photos, I had the tune "The Entry of the Gladiators" going through my head all the time!  You can listen to it here as you go through the photos:

Great pics, again

The one of the boys on the varanda is especially well posed... You can really see them stretching to see

(and that acrobat's braid is also very well trained :P )

Now I'm also curious with the show... though my love of circus is long gone - don't think that applies to the playmoversion.
