Because I know Bonnie has been waiting with baited breath for these, here at last are the photos of my zoo/safari park diorama from Kirkbean
There are quite a lot of photos so I'll post them in batches.
First a couple of views of the diorama as a whole - this display was 8' x 12' and it was difficult to photograph it all at once so these are from different angles...
From the entrance you pass the zoo shop - I forgot to take photos of this
Outside is an open area with two pools and seating. Maisie and Fred are having a short rest there while their grandchildren watch the peacocks...
Close to the entrance is the crocodile and alligator pool...
Nearby my avatar is watching the world go by while Junior enjoys an ice cream,
I loved the bronze elephant statue in Bonnie's zoo but couldn't bring myself to paint one of my elephants so used the white one as a statue instead...
A little way past the crocodiles is the play area - a very popular place -
All the toys in there are animal related...
Across the way is the pet's corner...
And the aviaries with exotic birds...
By the entrance to the safari park is the cafe with upstairs viewing area.
We hid the Bunny family in different dioramas at the exhibition for children (and adults!) to find, here is Mrs Bunny hidden under the cafe...
