I just learned that on a job I was helping with that a coworker is helping to restore a 1910 0-6-0 from San Fransisco. They also acquired the last remaining brick roundhouse. They were able to place it into the historic building designation so it will be protected. I guess they also just acquired 26 miles of free track that will be delivered any month. Quite a generous contractor, he is even delivering it for free. They are also getting a turntable from San Antonio Texas to replace the one that was scrapped.

We had a great time on that train. I think it was a narrow gauge logging train. We ride it to the historic Santa Cruz beach boardwalk. The kids love the trip and the day on rollercoasters
