I have been a long time in joining the forum but better late than never. I, and my siblings, grew up with playmobil and focused primarily on the medieval elements but made time for other areas as well. (Dug around in the old picture books, first set was a farm set when I was about... 1984. Mom was, and still is from time to time, our best enabler. She drove us all over the eastern USA always with our list of retailers in the car... just in case we happened to be within striking distance of one... or 5 ... or 20. ;D . I suppose that will do for a start... another enabler (my wife) practically made me sign up... or was that the other way around? :)

 Welcome from Pennsylvania, Baron Marshall. I have found that it is good to have enablers in your life, especially when it comes to PM storage!

We love Saratoga Springs! Do you have a good toystore with lots of PM there? Beautiful little town on the way to Lake Placid.
Glad your family is into PM. That makes it so much easier. Enjoy your toys, Pgal

Unfortunately the local shop doesn't stock everything... though I am a bit spoiled as we had Kraynak's in Sharon/Hermitage, PA growing up and they always did/ do stock everything. But my folks still live down that way and I get there every now and again... and I can always send mom out to pick up stuff for me. Playmobil website orders usually get here the next day or 2 days at most... since it only a 3 hour drive. :) I am bummed about the $500 dollar limit... but I guess i'll get more "free" gifts... which would be good if they would ever run out of that ghost pirate game and send me a zookeeper... i must have like 20-30 ghost pirate games ::) ... but i digress
