An amazing collection, with many figures I've not seen before. There are a few animals with printing on them I have not seen. Are they official releases by Playmobil (like the blue horse), or custom printed by other groups? I am the owner of Animobil.info and am interested in adding any official releases that I have missed. Thanks for sharing your collection with us.
-
Hello Tiermann, many thanks for your response. The animals are no customs. The blue horse and rider the is a give away from the Blue Competence, it's a group of companies from the K Messe in Düsseldorf 2014 and 2015. The following animals are give aways of Grafe Master batches in Hamburg. It's a supplier of granulates for Playmobil production:
Orca
Stegosaurus
Big elephant
Little elephant
They also have two dragons in red and green. But I don't have both of them.
The shark is from Telsonic and sheep is an Instagram campaign of the belgish city Lier.

Thank you for the information. I have the Blue Competence horse, but did not know about the Grafe Master ones, or the other two. I will watch for them.

That’s a really nice collection ;D

That is an amazing collection :)
As to your want list, it would probably help to add pics or links - for example, which one is "Funpark Malta" ?
-
Very impressive assemblages! :(o): :sparkle:

A fantastic collection- thank you for sharing! I knew there were many, many promotional figures, but I had no idea how many! Some of those must be very hard to acquire, even in Germany. It would be great to have pictures of each figure, front and back, to serve as a catalogue for collectors. I don't think such a thing exists at the moment.
-
Hello, many thanks for your responses. A catalogue for promo figures is available. Max Pfannholzer from Düsseldorf created a nice catalogue. At the moment he ist working on a new edition. You could get it for 7€ by playmomax@web.de.
-
Here is a picture of the catalogue..
-
I got that catalog - and discovered that there are TWO BASF promos.... :P
(among many I didn't even know existed)
Though the pics are very small.... it is a great resource for reference.
-
Yes, one edition in German and one in English.
The actual catalogue has 60 pages, the new one will have 108 pages with larger photos. Many pictures show my figures.
-
If you are interested to get more information about the figures on the pictures, I would describe them in detail. Let me know.
-
Thanks for the information about Max's catalogue, I will contact him. Sorry I can't help with the items you do not have, but as tahra said, it would be good to have pictures of them, so that catalogue may help.

Yes, including of your "wanted list" - I don't know who they are :-[
Maybe you can shed some light on these?
Mini (https://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=17718.0) (the Leica woman is now known)
Mystery klicky (https://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=17328.0) - no idea who he is...
-
Here she is!
Miss Leica
😁

Miss Leica
Right - that one appeared... but the rest... mystery remains.
-
I don't think, that it is a promo. Perhaps it was a test print from Malta. I have a figure with a Leica print, which comes from Malta, but it was a self creation with other parts.

Since yesterday Miss Leica is a member of my collection! :yippee:  :clap:

I can't place the torso.. it's driving me nuts. AND I got a second one (also a keichain, with an hairband) in really bad condition.
Also no clue about the MINI cap. So far.

That is a great collection! Thank you for sharing these pictures and information about rare sets. :)

Hello guys,
I was active long time ago. But now I found GrahamB´s recession of Max Pfannholzer´s catalogue about the promos. I have good news. Max is working on a third edition of the catalogue. He plans a volume of 160 pages. I think it will appear in summer.
I support him with figures to make photos and perhaps I have the honour to create the forword again.
Best regards from very cold Germany
Thomas
