Can you tell me if I did alright money-wise or if I was just a complete fool??!

1. THE WATER GIRL #3372!!!  :D
http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=3372x

I've wanted her for years!  But... I paid a whopping (ugh) $48.00 for her!  Here in the U.S. she's hard to come by - or at least that's been my experience - so I went for it.  So tell me...was that just totally irresponsible of me based on prices you've seen her going for?  Truth please.  The seller said "complete set" and I see the wash tub but no X-shaped base in the picture.  I contacted the seller to ask about that, though it wasn't a deal-breaker.

That was so exciting for me!  On a side note, re. rare klickies, I also got lucky a couple of years ago and got my other coveted klicky from a wonderful person in the Netherlands whom I met on playmoboard.com - and that's the Light-Blue egg golden knight #3977:
http://www.playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?set=3977c  I would never have even known about that klicky but a young stop-motion animator used him as his main character in one of his movies called "The Kingdom" and my then-5-year-old freaked out and wanted him desperately after that.  Go figure, considering his value.  Unfortunately I've had to supervise when he plays with him cause we don't want him damaged or pieces lost!

2. Today I also won the smaller house #5305 (mansion style) for $52.72 + 10.00 shipping cause I've seen great custom holiday houses on ebay using smaller houses (e.g. halloween or xmas themes - although they usually limit their holiday theme houses to one large room with "front balcony" patio and stairs) and I thought it might be fun to imitate those creative people.  Plus my younger boys are still young enough that they might use the house for the few modern PM people they have, or even their knights, who knows.  Anyone on here do such creative holiday houses and sell them on ebay?  I wouldn't want to sell them myself but I'd like to see more pics of them for inspiration.  I thought it would be fun to add lights and sound. ;D  Anyway, it seems I paid quite a bit once again considering it comes with no people and no furniture - not that I really need them.  I haven't looked for houses before so please be honest if I paid too much.  It's too late now but I'd still like to know what you would have paid for something like this/these.

Thanks so much!

I'm no expert at all on medeival sets, so I couldn't tell you about the water girl. But the price for the house sounds great to me! I would have paid that much for it, even though it is very small.

Whew - that makes me feel surprisingly a lot better, reading that, thank you!  As for the klicky, I'm getting nervous cause I just found out the x-shaped stand that goes under the wash tub isn't included.  The seller says he'll see if someone else doesn't pay him for the other one that IS complete that he was selling recently (it's past the time they're supposed to pay) in which case he'll give me that set...but if the other person DOES pay, I'm not sure what to do cause the price I paid reflected a complete set (the ad said "complete").  If you have advice on THIS little problem, please do share!  ;)  Thanks so much!

Geez...well I do feel like a bit of a schmuck but I just NEVER saw the water girl in all my times of searching for her and was so tired of going without her!  I never knew her # before the ebay listing though so now that i know the #, it may be that searches would be a whole heck of a lot easier!!  Still though - never even stumbled on her.  I can't believe how lucky you people are in other parts of the world.  I'm sure you've heard that about a million times by now eh?!  The good news is that the seller said he'll send the x-shaped stand, making it a complete set.  What a relief.  Now, onto the 3632 Travelers With Bear Act set I've been longing for...

The yoke and buckets are an easy find, but harder to get the complete Klicky all as one set.

Interested in buying another water carrier? I spotted one on a dutch selling, I can probably get it for a lot less than you paid.
