Yes, there only 2 differences on the instructions between the boys/girls (blue/pink) surprise figures and and/or different series; male klicky for the boys' and a female-klicky for the girls' ones, and the series-numbers.

ok..thanks everyone..and we learn more again....so mystery solved and looking forward to Fi?ures II and 2012 ;D

That's because the heads are different.. isn't it?
Wonder if it's the combination. Will have to try that.

Yes, it is. Old heads can be used with the new frames, but the new heads not with the old frames.

My personal opinion is, that the new inner frames hold the figure much better. Many Romans (and other new figures) have problems with the hip, but the Fi?ures stand very well.

I agree with Erwin here... I think it is the generic "how to do it" for the surprise figures.

looking at the instruction sheet... it looks like they might be making just 1 sheet for the whole line with a generic "how to put this together" instruction instead of being figure specific... just a thought :)
The blue and pink surprise figures that we got here also feature this kind of generic instruction.......and I tell you....the printing on the figures is really bad....way worse than the ones I got from Europe!!!! The machine is probably overused and the printing now becomes blurry. I am not blaming them....it is normal to save the best stuffs for the locals....sigh
