What is this set? I don't recognize the number, Pgal
After two decades of male toys (esp. Lego and PM) in our house, it is time to build something for us women!

The grab-bag specials at TRU feature this weird grey internal skeleton.

Not only is the colour different than the original white, but the material is MUCH different.  The original white internal frame is very hard yet flexible.  If you've ever put together a plastic model kit airplane or car, you'll know what I'm talking about when I describe that the new GREY PLASTIC internal frame being used with newer clickies is very much the same as the cheap plastic used in plastic model kits!

The new grey internal frame is VERY CHEAPO PLASTIC and EASY TO BREAK!  I could already see stress marks developing when I snapped the legs into both grab-bag clickies I recently purchased yestereday (which come 100% UNASSEMBLED in pack).

BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD PM!!!  Not good at all!

Yes, this is from a surprise seller fi?ure, one of the boy's series for the 1st half of 2012, which carry the N° 5157.

Nothing special about the inner frame anymore; the previous series also had this new grey frame.

Big question is: As it shows 5157 on the leaflet; where did you get the assembly-instructions for a still-to-be-released-surprise-fi?ure ?!  ;)

Resistance is futile, you will be boarded!

this isn't a 'trivia' question...i thought some of you might already have this or heard about it...anyway I stumbled upon this in playmobilusa and there's no name assigned
...very strange (sounds like a line from the Beatles' "Penny Lane" ;D)

That is really bad news. Playmobil quality seems to deteriorate even with their brand new, ' novelty ' products . This is a worrying conclusion and a very unwelcomed one , playmobil sets and klickies and flexy plastic knowdays have taken playmobil toy line from a quality perspectieve even further lower than LEGO. Lego dont need to change such qualities , plastic density etc etc , shame really playmobil is cutting on corners  to saty in the game probably.. not good news .... .  :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm:

Interesting find, Cheng! A color Fi?ure would be very interesting  :o! As far as the interior skeleton goes, I agree that it's a different kind of plastic, but I think it's so the Klickey can be more easily disassembled by pulling up on the head. I don't think it's cheap, just flexible, but I'm not an expert.

wow, I did not know that!  I just beheaded my clicky as you stated, by simply pulling up on its head!  No more painful HansBeck method!  So that's a plus I guess!  Just be careful when attaching your legs to the frame itself; the two extensions which the legs peg into at the pivots on mine seem flimsy IMO, esp with stress marks on both of them.  But I'm no expert either.  Maybe I got defected ones by chance.
