What set is this from?
« on: November 17, 2011, 00:20:47 »
Another mistery to solve from our spanish friends.

Where is this guy from?

And if it is a custom... what set is the torso from?

no idea.... it could be a "put together" custom, like legs from a guy, arms from another, etc,  but the printing looks original.

So the important part to identify is the torso.

99.9% sure the torso is custom-made, probably a sticker on a plain blue body

Resistance is futile, you will be boarded!

my first idea would be its from 4014 - SuperSet Ritterbastion but the blue torsos there have a griphon on them, and the knight on horse who bears the same crest on his helmet is orange... so no luck there...

It coud be both suggestions put forward here... either a custom or from a yet unknown set..

That is a great link.  Check out the horse armor, I don't collect the medieval era (due to the amount available not for lack of interest).  That horse armor is enticing.

I undertook to add the athletes to the DB, then figured I'd grab the rest of the US site to compare to the last time I downloaded it - and there it was. There's a whole lot of new instructions in the official repository, too.  For the impatient, the fellow above is 30 00 0193.
