Of course they are things, we all know that.  :)  (I hope?)

But they do get to embody our imagination, they are assigned roles as if they where actors and through them our stories come alive. Well not literaly but you get the idea.  ;)

Good question.  I started the thread with pirates in mind, not soldiers.  But feel free to add soldiers as well.....

Mmm. Fair point there. Still, it's a very very pretty figure. The prettiest figures in this theme do not look like pirates I think... the fat one in 4444 being a case in point :) PM should give us more figures like these.

If soldiers count as well, then I'd have to say this guy is my favorite.



He can be a redcoat, a merchant, a gentleman adventurer, possibly even a pirate. A wonderfully versatile clicky in this setting with a great look.
Just keep him away from liquor.
