Hi, everyone :knight:! 
Here is a bit about my kingdom of Katzenreich :).


Katzenreich is a a relatively new kingdom, with just 234 years of history. It has been ruled by the family of Alexander throughout all of its history, and the current king, Lord Alexander Gewitter is quite popular. 

There were about nine hundred inhabitants in the last census 20 years ago, and the population has probably grown to almost a thousand or more since then. Most live in urban areas, but many on farms at the edge of the forest.   


Geography: The kingdom of Katzenreich lies on the coast of the Great Abyss lake, with Ithaca to the west and the Empire to the east. It also shares a small border with Trechisperia. 

The kingdom has no mountains, and the landscape is flat, and in parts densly forested. The Royal Castle of Lord Alexander sits atop the tallest hill, part of the mountains spilling over from the East. The peak of this hill is almost 100 meters above sea level. 

Natural Resources: With pretty much just the northern half of the Kingdom populated, the forests of Katzenreich are an excellent resource for the wood. It is said that the wood from these forests is enchanted from the ghosts the people say live in parts of the forest. Indeed, it is very durable and builds the castles and cities of the expanding urban region, while also being exported to other kingdoms. 

Fishing is also popular and profitable along the coast. The coastal villages are always supplied with fresh fish, which include some smoked and imported from the uninhabited region below Katzenreich.

Here is a little information about Katzenreich's military:

Military: Katzenreich maintains a small standing army of 200 soldiers, but that number is slowly growing with the population. The kingdom has remained peaceful, with enough natural resources and space for expansion that warfare seems unnecessary. However, Katzenreich is ready to defend itself from invasion with not only it’s army but also a wall along it’s borders. It’s gates remain open during peacetime.

Excellent Intro of your Kingdom in this World .

Parhaps in the near future your king will visit the maginicent capital and castle of Krull and enjoy some of Krulls Ale .....

Rutileo has much to offer from their famous mines.

An excellent intro to your Kingdom Ace!
I love when people expand on the original idea of the Kingdoms Map
It makes that whole game ever more fun. :)
