while the huge Samurai armies had arquebuses, the outnumbered Koreans relied on composite bows which had a maximum range of 500 yards (in comparison to the 350 yards of most standard Japanese bows)

Luckily the Japanese weren't good musketeers, while it is said that Koreans were good archers, they feared the Japanese swords and ran when they approached.

Diaries of the famed naval commander Yi Sunsin are replete with references to almost daily archery practice....so this klicky is a tribute to these important men in the field

(they are white but the flash photography didnt similarly make his arms look bluish...different materials and different whites I suppose

I do have problems with both japanese bows and korean bows but for now, just the simple shorter indian bows for koreans and the longer ones for japanese
