Hey!
I've been planning this for a long time but, was busy doing this and that, so, eventually...
This is a kabuto aka samurai helmet. It's not perfectly polished yet, and as it will be my master model to cast a few more, I still need to work on the details a bit. Yet, I couldn't wait any longer to show it to you guys.
The mempo (face mask) is not finished either, it needs a bit more trimming, especially between the eyes, and I might add a nose too. Both kabuto and mempo will be painted later, obviously.  8}





After I've visited the Samurai expo in Paris, I might come up with different versions of the horns, and new ideas for the mempo. Can't wait to go there!

youre stoking my interest in samurais once again!
nice Kabuto...and body armour...and weapon once again!
when will you be back from this Paris Expo? maybe you'll make those huge horned kabuto ;D
with such a japanese looking samurai, you dont even need to use those PM 'chinese eyes'  ;)

I edited my post. There are now two different photos and not twice the same anymore! Hope it remains so, I can't understand what happened with Photobucket, I had to upload the images twice and it kept displaying the same picture on and on...
