Historically maybe this helmet exists but practical this helmet it would be only for decoration purposes.It will be extremely difficult to use this helmet in battle even for ancient greeks!!

Spot on, Cheng! That's what I told Javi. These Corithians must've had really strong neck!
BTW, they're starting an expo at a Museum in Paris about the samurais and their armors. I'll go take some pics…

I would like to learn more about it, but as I said, the horns may were added later, or as Angelo suggest, might be used for ceremonial purposes.

Your absolutely right and I love yout customs and enjoy them a lot, but besides I love being an amateur archeologist so the history of the helmet you posted interest me equally a lot. On the other hand, you're right this is the playmoforum not the archeological one.

You misunderstood. We like your custom  . And we dont care in what context you use it, we love see it used in any context.

But, we are also interested in the real thing (the helmet that inspired you) and where it comes from, what is its history, how it was created. Maybe not the theme of this thread, and out of topic surely, so thank you for the information, we won't ask anything else on it, as what matters here is your custom and that you were inspired by that real helmet. Now excuse us, we'll go look for the historical background of the real helmet as an archaeological artifact
