Winter Diorama!
« on: November 06, 2011, 00:21:07 »
This morning, I had to pack away my city because we had an open house. (For those who don't know, we're selling our house.)
So, when I came back, I saw an empty dining room table and thought - "well, It could use some Playmo to liven it up."
Here's what came up with - a winter wonderland diorama!

Wooded section...

The deer have discovered Santa's pack! :)

A delivery truck is here to cut down some Christmas trees.

Shoveling snow.

Hope you like it! ;)

Ah, makes me feel like singing Christmas carols! One day I will take my children somewhere for a snowy Christmas. Nearly 30 years living in Australia and I still miss a winter Christmas

Looks too granular for flour, probably sugar. Great little diorama, it's cold enough here to start feeling like winter.

Yep, it is flour. I found that just sprinkling a bit of flour over the PM gives a great effect.
Oh yeah - the set I used for the wooded area was the 3006. I didn't really even know I had that set until today. :-[

I'm gonna try this dio again with felt and see how it looks.
Thanks for all your replies! :)
