Halloween Diorama 2011
« on: October 30, 2011, 16:15:58 »
Since my house been in a bit of an upheaval while the floors were redone I just had a small space for the Halloween diorama this year. I've got a new diorama table I am setting up now and have started on this year's Santa Castle which will be more elaborate than ever.

I've used a dark grey felt for the sky in most images but the first is with the white walls for contrast so you can see some details.

The autumn leaves are custom paint, and the Bride of Frankenstein is a custom from a while back. She's had her own thread here int he past if you want to look her up.

Halloween Castle 2011 no9 by TimSpfd, on Flickr

And that's all for this year. I think I managed to cram in the maximum number of Halloween cliches in the available space. :D  And got many of my favorites out to play for a bit.

Gorgeous.. Is that a batcat?

I love the autumn leaves too.. Real nice detail.

(and you have two spiders = brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr - I was putting away the spotless baby giraffes yesterday, but this time I remembered.. picked the zipper carefully on one end and set it carefully aside.. I still couldn't touch them!)

Tim,
Loved your autumn leaves, pumpkins, three witches and their cauldron! What a fantastic display for Halloween! Pgal
After two decades of male toys (esp. Lego and PM) in our house, it is time to build something for us women!
