If the joints were refined a bit, it would be cool.  Also all the joints would
be easier to break me thinks. :2c:

I do not like the way they look at all.
Playmobil would have to do something very different...
But If I saw these as the new sets I would stop collecting.
The only change I want are separately movable legs. :)9
Steck is BACK! <:>

Well.. if we wanted articulation or realism, we wouldn't love the little guys, IMO

And we do

I bet you don't like the new speedo & bikini swim suit figures either, do you :hmm:?

Hmm....I'm not sure weither to like or dislike it.  ???

If this should ever be produced (probably not; it is just a custom, not a company-prototype I'm sure), quality of the moveable parts should be very very good, and much  improved over today's standards: too many brandnew klickies come with too loose arms & legs already, and need to be dismantled to fix the problem.

Resistance is futile, you will be boarded!

I'm not sure which way I go on it. I definitely would NOT want them to all look like this. But for certain klickys, like archers, it could be interesting. Just like the bikini klickys are used for a few certain purposes.

I would be very happy to see articulated Klickies personally. I would like to have the ability to pose them more. I think they would need to be more sophisticated than the protoype shown however, but think it is a good idea.

I agree. That's a great idea to have a selection based on specific purposes.

i really like them!  however, I would love for them to be ADDED to the current clicky types available, not to purely REPLACE the old ones.  Admittedly, though, that is more for nostalgic reasons than practical ones.  I don't want to see the classic clicky form disappear completely.

disadvantages I can foresee:  not as easy to stand the clickies, particularly in large rows/regiments if making armies, because the legs/knees will have to be accurately posed in order to get the clickies to stand.  For me, I would prefer the classic bodies to use for mass armies and cannon fodder, but use the articulated clickies for specific poses (like kneeling riflemen, trench crawlers, etc...).

major advantage besides better poses, is it opens a bigger array of possibilities for stop motion films.  Until now, stop motion clickies "glide" along the ground as if on roller skates since there is no way to make them walk without articulated legs.

I wonder, though, how easily they can be disassembled for customizing.  I doubt the hans beck method will work for disassembly.
