This set finally showed up in the local shop. I wasn't originally planning on getting it now but decided it was my surviving Valentine's Day present.
I really like it, lots of interesting and useful bits. The inside of the main living cave really reminds me of the Flintstone's house. The way it's shaped and has a window for instance. For those of us who grew up on Flintstones reruns there are bound to be connections.
The fish in the water thing - I don't see it mentioned here so I will go into that a little bit. This is actually a fishing system. There is the large stick with the split point. There are little holes on the sides of the space for the fish, so that you can put the stick in the water around the fish and pull the fish out. It works great. There is also the small ground piece with a little branch on it. That is so you can put the stick on it to hold the fish over the fire while you cook it.
Also this ground section is the first ground piece with only a single small hole. It's the sort of thing I will eventually order some of from DS as it's bound to come in handy in setting up scenery. I'm going to need to order a set of the stickers from DS too. I really like them and am reluctant to pull them off the sheet and stick them on the cave.
