Occupy Playmo-Town protest
« on: October 23, 2011, 15:33:26 »
Many of you may be familiar with the "Occupy Protests" which have spread worldwide. Then, this morning, I thought, "Hey, If It's spread worldwide, then of course it spread to Playmo-Town!" So, here's the end result.

Protesters set up camp in St. Edward's Square, blocking off traffic.

Police arrived to take control of the situation.

And, in the end, arrested a handful of people.

After 24 hours, the protesters were released, and the size of the crowd escalated once again.

It sad to see that crisis has caught up with Playmo-town  :'( I thought our ideal playmo world was crisis-free  :(
Despite that, these are some good series of pics PlaymoMan!

It just goes to show, behind that smile burns a fire for justice!  Great story, playmoman.  Look forward to the rest.

Great story, Playmoman ! They have one of these going on in my home-town right now in front of the capitol. There are about 30 tents set up in this rainy October weather  ::).

Heh well maybe clickies could consider their owner to be greedy if he/she does not provide houses for all of them.

I bet thats what clickies would protest strongly about if they are going to protest, most don't have houses and might just commit crimes to get into a jail since thats one of the few places with a bed.  :)

Or they might protest about other clickies always getting to ride in the fancy sports car or getting the best spot in a diorama.

We'll keep an eye out for you at the next Occupy rally...missed you at the first one somehow! No one was violent at the first Raleigh protest. Forgot to take my PM family last time. Cheers, Pgal
