There's been a severe crash in Playmo-Town!
« on: October 14, 2011, 21:14:28 »
Witnesses describe that at 12:08 PM, local time, a large orange garbage truck rammed into the wall of an abandoned factory. There is no word on fatalities quite yet. On the scene, currently, are a PTFD fire SUV and a PTPD patrol car. Paramedics are expected to arrive.

Here's an overview picture of the crash.

The front of the garbage truck.

First on the scene is a PTFD fire SUV.

The firefighter realizes that he can't recover the passengers on his own and calls for backup.

A PTPD patrol car is the next to arrive.

The three take on the strenuous task of clearing the debris.

Paramedics arrive on the scene and take care of the one passenger that has been recovered from the debris.

Currently, on the scene of the terrible crash that occurred at 12:08 PM, debris is still being cleared. One passenger has been recovered, sustaining only minor head injuries. Paramedics have arrived on the scene. All vehicles are being directed to Mobi St., causing some traffic delays.
Bob Klick, Playmo-Town Daily Citizen

(I've changed to flash for these pics.)

Rescue workers are still trying to locate the missing passenger.

Suddenly, the truck banks to the left, causing the missing passenger to be lifted out of the truck! What a miracle! ;D

The emergency personnel frantically tend to his wounds.

It is determined that he has sustained quite more then the other passenger. Many broken bones have been identified.

Even MORE pics to follow! ;D

Great set so far.

In the second photo of the last batch - there's an arm sticking out from under the front of the truck. I fear at least one fatality.

It's the traffic patrol officer with the white vest on. He shows up in the last picture rendering aid. He also has a blue shirt with a capital "S" for Supa hero on it! ;)

Me, too! Holding my breath that they all live.
I often dream of getting smashed inside our city garbage trucks after reaching deep into in our tall cans to find something put there by mistake by hubby...and falling in just before the truck arrives with the automatic lift that raises the can about 22 feet (3 meters) straight up in the air before dumping it in the truck. What a nightmare!
I pray that no one received serious injuries in this catastrophe, Pgal
After two decades of male toys (esp. Lego and PM) in our house, it is time to build something for us women!
