Color scheme help

Ok so i Painted the Cab and the base of this Locomotive.  Just need some input on the Roof.  Should i Paint the Roof another Color.

I think the red should be the overall colour except for the cab roof (which should be black) and the very front of the boiler (the smoke box) which should be black.  

I think, too, the cab roof needs a more glossy finish (maybe it's just a first coat in the picture.)

I'd love to see a glossy red matching boiler....in which case I would do the roof red as well.  just my 2cents

You know glossy black may do it for me.  I like everything, but the cab roof.  Thats kinda why i wanted some feedback on these paint job.

I think:

• roof in black

• boiler in black or boiler in red and first segment and the funnel (stack) in black (like the »Länderbahnfarben«) and golden rings (e.g. like THIS one [KLICK!])

Now That is something to try for.  I just need to get some
 good gold paint.
