The following site reminds me of Skywalker's pics, but it's in French.....  The pics are PHENOMENAL!!!!   These are not my pictures btw.... I dunno if the creator is a member here yet either:

I was thinking the same thing!  (glad to know someone else who know's classic anime!)  I want to try my own hand at a futuristic playmo ship based off an ancient galleon!


 Also reminds me of Queen Esmeralda's Ship that has a galleon as the base hull, hanging from a futuristic blimp ship structure:

wow!  that's your matrice?  well done!  (where is that from?  it looks familiar to me).  Reminds me a great deal also of Alien designs, including Alien, Predator, Species, and particularly, The Necronomicon artwork
