Unusual Playmobil box
« on: September 19, 2011, 10:01:03 »
Has anyone ever seen packaging like this before?

I've just got this 'set', but I don't think the road signs would have come in it originally as they barely fit.

The box has the word 'Playmobil' on all 4 sides, and is plain orange on either end.

Could it be packaging from early DS? Or perhaps from within a set, for example when the track in train sets comes seperately boxed inside.

Damo :)

It's funny to see an orange box, but wasn't this the colour originally associated with construction theme?

Could be very early DS packaging. Interesting item! :)

The orange box is a nice find but, the road signs bring back a lot of memories to my mind! They're from the first set I ever had, and came with only one clicky cop with a white helmet. There were traffic lights too, I think, though it may have been in another set...
Thanks for posting these Damo!
