The only themes I'm not wild about are dragonland and fairies. I pretty much like all playmobil. my childhood favorite themes in general not just in playmobil, were western/indians, pirates, dollhouses, and animals/pets/horses. And interestingly, that translates to my favorite themes now, exactly. Though I didn't have any playmo pirates or dollhouse stuff as a kid, those are all my favorite areas now. So I think your theory may be right, Gaston.

In the end, we will conserve only what we love. We will love only what we understand. We will understand only what we are taught.

Heh, I am a guy who is not into construction at all. Then again, I am the kind who is not handy at all.
But it does look nice, and its very much a part of playmobil. Just not my kind of thing.

Actually, no..

Why not ? lego has made medieval civilian sets etc and i cant see why kids of today wouldnt like these ... its a shame really playnmobil didint create any civilian romans which was a huge dissapointment for me and as far as medieval sets , well the bakery is out and thats a good start plus the barrel....

No, I mean I wasn't playing with the first medieval guys when I was little. I had indians/cowboys/safari/etc - but no medieval/construction/space - those were later.. finds.

i don't think medieval / dragonland should go together - i like medieval stuff (don't collect much), especially old sets but to me the dragon sets are some of the ugliest sets pm has ever made, with those ridiculous chiken face dragons and winged knights :hmm:

The old green/ red / black dragon i suppose ??? Well i like him and i have 7 of them  :hmm: :hmm: :hmm:

As for the dragonland series their weapons etc clearly indicate a medieveal era i dont why it should be differentiated from the castles ...  :hmm: :hmm: :hmm:

this is the chicken dragon 5840 - Dragon Rock

At first i too thought everyone was refering to the typical green/red/black dragon like that.
