Medieval, but not quite the dragonland

You are able to create a whole new ancient world with the sets, which is just cool. So it is great if Geobra could produce more sets with civilians, and not limited by castle and troops.

They should at the very least try and release smaller castles, more of an outpost of sorts or watchtower.

A two stories high watchtower with an armory on one floor, a place to sleep on the other, and two or three guards could be a very good set.
I am still busy writing up a very long list of stuff I'd like to see on wordpad though.

They're always releasing outposts of some sorts, especially in the supersets. What we need is a building system like Steck, which can cater for bigger and smaller castles but which can also be dismantled easily for the sake of space. As much as they are lovely, new buildings like the lighthouse and the recent recoat fortress are such a pain to put away. Space-wise in fact, I would say that the fortress takes almost as much space to store as a 3666.

The redcoat fort is nice, but it would be nicer to have multible steck buildings to combine. That way several small sets could still make a large castle when put together.

The old schuldtrum from my brother is all the steck I got to build with during my childhood, and it has been used for a great many things despite not being that big.
At some point we even made an alleyway with all kinds of houses, like a little village.

So medieval and dragonland is by far the most collected.  :hmm:

it's interesting.

I think this has to do with the other poll that's running. the age-range.
so far the "thirty something going on 40" is winning... meaning we were playing with Pm when medieval was first out in the market.

It would have been more interesting to see how dragonland would have made it on its own instead of being assossiated with medieval.
maybe this also have been said but it's weird that now the medieval theme is mostly - if not ONLY - knights  :hmm:
I wonder if kids nowadays would like civilian medieval people to play with....  :hmm:

Actually, no.. The big themes for me were indians and cowboys. That was the "adventure movie" of the time. Actually my first medieval sets were the "robin hood party", the one with the big barrel and drunk monk, and those around it.

I was only interested in the old knights much later...

Of course, back then, any theme would do too.. There was the big desert one and the Safari with the small elephant.. Those were some of the first...

My theme was totally construction. Anyways, what boy isn't into the "totally sick" construction vehicles? ;D
What's everybody's least favorite theme? For me I don't really have a least favorite theme - like most people here, I like all PM - but if I had to chose one, I'd say Medieval. :knight:
