The Romans called Barbarians every people that did not speak Latin, that gives us a wide choice, doen't it?

About shields? How do you like this one?

I've often read this expression "xxx xxxx are period"
Did you mean 'historical period' (as in 'yes, they are historically accurate'?)
or did you mean 'it stops/ends here!' ...meaning "I'll have nothing to do with this(rubbish)!" ?

can't wait to make a couple more Gauls myself now :P
and I'm going to customise a celtic helmet with horns
(hope its easier than customising a WW2 Wehrmacht steel helmet ;))

Please don't make a Wermacht helmet, or at least, I wouldn't want to see it, and maybe other people wouldn't either.
