Actually, the non-matching pants are more period then matching ones would be.
Vikings are farmers, they do not have the money to buy each set of clothes matching colors.
Then again, they might have to buy a roll of fabric, or buy all the fabric they need from the same seller
and make a whole outfit out of it, so there could be matching clothes.
However, I would wonder if a viking would take the time to match up their clothes.
But just like in any other society, there are fashions, and people who follow fashions,
So there could be vikings who could care less,
and vikings who spend 30 minuets of their morning going through what clothes to wear.
