I prefer Viking #1 (and yes, he does look like a viking to me). I like the continuity of the scale mail between the torso and the legs, though, I agree the tied up boots look better. But, since you can't have both...
I would prefer him with: bare arms, fur cuff (dark grey to mach the cloak), and maybe a gladius instead of the sword, that'd be awesome.

I doubt there is a dark grey gladius in the roman sets Arnaud. This one if from the 4812 Wolf Knight with Catapult although playmodb lists it as light grey ...and thats funny, but now that I look at it, it may have been light grey gladius after all... then where did I got that dark grey from?  ??? :-\  confused again  :-[

But yes, I think Arnaud's suggestion was just right! The yellow sleeves weren't quite right and the bare arms are much better. He looks great!
