I would love to get some of these. :-\ Our TRU is closing and opening a new location, so all merchandise and furniture is being sold. But they said the showcases are dealer owned and they can't sell them. :(

i have some of those ceiling-hanging carboard ads - got them from a local retail store in California a few years ago

i don't have any of the displays but they can be easily made at home and even better looking (i've seen some being auctioned on ebay at ridiculous starting prices...)

i would definately love to have one of those life size klickies - or at least a medium size one (the ones that come by halves to hang on the wall)
Enjoy the elegance and fun of 1900 with The Victorians photo story! :gent: ;D :sherlock:

I have two of those cube lamps.. have no idea where to put them though.. since I doubt they give much light, right?

And I have a Viking cardboard thing, I think where the boxes go...

I MUST have one of those big guys. MUST.

Well, its not that they dont like money, they do, otherwise they would offer us some kind of price reduction for so many sets we bought from them over the past years...

They are more concerned with the use of them by the person who would buy them. For example, the big klicky is a trademark that ''here we sell playmobil toys''... people have associated the big klicky with that fact. If they go to a place where there is a big klicky but no playmobil to buy, that will have a direct impact back at them. How do they allow big klickies to places where no playmobil are sold, people may think. Once someone had given away a big pirate captain and that klicky ended up outside a bar in Crete... the bar was called ''The Pirate''... I dont know what impact that had to people, but playmobil hellas officials came back with a court order and removed the klicky... It is sad and pity that has to be that way but the head office in Germany dictates these policies...

There is a playmobil store here in Tacoma Washington USA adjacent to a bar.  Somehow I think the bar purchased the store's Giant Pirate Clicky because there is now a giant pirate clicky in the window display of the Bar.  Depending on the season, he is seen wearing different (nonplaymobil) accessories, including a santa hat and cat ears.  I mistakenly walked into the bar my first time, thinking it was the entrance to the playmobil store.  I was confused why the clicky was there, and not in the playmobil store instead.

btw, I saw a red schooner pirateship display on sale on ebay more than once.  I've always wanted  it.
Ahoy, Pirates, Hoist the Colours!
