Krull Royal Visit
« on: September 05, 2011, 09:01:39 »
A historic visit to Krull!!! King Kellanved of Ceragem arrived at the city to meet with King Iseroth

The welcoming was very warmhearted and the two kings embraced each other in a gesture of friendship!

The two kings took a tour of the city, pausing for brief minutes here and there to admire the variety of sites that Krull hosts!  King Kellanved was intrigued by the bear he saw at the corner of a street, and asked why does he wear a harness? Is he agressive?. The bear was found wounded at the forest ouside the city of Krull when he was very young, and was take by a family to be looked after. King Iseroth, once he saw the harness, ordered the animal to be free of it as it is a friendly animal and there is no need to be shown as an agressive beast to the visitors of Krull. The bear caretaker promised to do so immidiately...

The two kings continued their walk andarrived in that middle of the city, at the central well...

King Iseroth explained that he wants to raise a statue of one on his ancestors here... maybe in the next weeks to come...

King Kellanved was amazed with the variety of goods the Krull market had.. this is a rich land indeed!!!

Finally the two kings arrived at the barracks of the city where the army of Krull gathered in a great show of power...

Sir Baldthar, accompanying King Kellanved said that such millitary discipline was equal to the one he has established in the Double Axe Vanguard!!!

Moving through the army the two kings would soon arrive at the palace...

King Iseroth gave King Kellanved a tour of his spoils of war! Showing him victory of his greatest conquests and defences... the crown of a rival king in the region, the chalise of a viking warlord... and many many more...

Finally King Kellanved met with the lovely and most beautiful Queen of Krull...

and then they moved on to the banquet, which the queen herself supervised... the silverware of Krull, legacy of the King's Iseroths ancestors, were used in the banquet...

After a rich meal the two kings enjoyed the famous Krull ale and King Kellanved said he had not tasted such a fine ale in many long years!!!

A small jousting tournament was also held in honour of King Kellanved's visit... the two kings watched while still having some ale...

But after such a full and exciting day, it was time for politics... King Iseroth's need to secure the north and King Kellanved's peace keeping in the south required the signing of a powerfull alliance treaty!!!

Now both kings could join their army to defent their territories against the ill will of many other kingdoms... It was said later, by men who were present in the signing of the treaty, that the first kingdom to be reasoned with, was Ithaca... King Kellanved expressed his fear that since not much is being heard from his neighbouring King Talos for some time now, and since many of the trading routes are closed, maybe something disturbing is being planned... King Iseroth assured King Kellanved of his total support and gave him a trunk full of gold to begin restoration of the Ceragem fortifications...

The two kings shook hands sealing their alliance ... but it was time for King Kellanved to move on... more allies need to be rallied ... the threat of the Malevolent  Duke inside Ceragem kingdom is still alive... and so, with a heavy heart of leaving this magnificent city, but also with the joy of being there, King Kellanved and his men departed for another adventure...

I have to say, admit and tell everyone that, even though I saw countless of pics of your krull city, nothing had me prepared for the real thing! once the door was open I felt the earth leaving my feet!!! It was such an amazing experience!!! I hope next time we'll have more time to enjoy Krull a lot more!!! A magical place truly that is!!!

And Angelo, no hard feeling for the new treaty, something to get you started on a few photostories projects!!!  ;)

( My pleasure Panos, hopefully we will have more time next time you visit .. and a great photostory of your King's visit this is ! )

.... and King Iseroth escorted King Kellanved to the double gates of the City Of Krull , most pleased with this Royal visit and this powerfull aliiance and strengthening of friendship with King Kellanved. King Iseroth offered a wagon with Krull's colors to carry the gold that was given to King Kellanved  as a gift of friendship to support his castle's and city's forticfications upgrades and most importanly his promise that Krull's disciplined armies will support King Kellanved should any problems occur in the South... As King Kellanved and his party was leaving he turned back into the city to return to the Royal Quarters of Krull.....  while walking through the city and being cheered by its townfolk he turned to his trusted Minister of the Interior and whispered with a grin on his face  : With our new powerfull alliance we can accellerate the conquest of the northern planes  and  once and for all deal with the threat from the Yellow Dragons and their Allies ....  most pleased I am , most pleased,  lets have some Ale and spit roast I say...

Yeah! it must be great to be able to play with each other's toys (as weird as that sounds)
It's a milestone for sure for both Kings and their people!
