Kirkbean 2011 - Town and Railway
« on: August 30, 2011, 16:58:57 »
After an extremely busy August I now have time to sort out my exhibition photos.  Again, I'm sure that the other exhibitiors have better photos than I have.
Here are the photos of the town and railway.  I added the church, vets. toy shop, hospital and gargen centre + the small pop performance (James' idea) but the rest is all Gordon's collection.

First 2 views showing each end of the display

Fire and rescue services had to tackle a very impressive house on fire...

The trains were busy all weekend...

and had some well known passengers...

track was being repaired...

and construction work was going on...

A small pop performance  being held in the town had attracted a number of fans...

Down near the level crossing, there was a busy garden centre...

While the vet's surgery was also a busy place...

For some reason I don't seem to have any photos of the toy shop or the hospital apart from some that I took when it was empty to remind me how I built it!

I'll post more photos of the other displays as I upload them.

Great to see more photos of the event. It's amazing how much space you can fill up when you start making scenes

Great photos, Elaine.

I have some of the hospital and toy shop which I'll post.

Elaine,
Lovely scenes from what looks like a fantastic exhibition!
Congrats on all the fine work that made this possible, Pgal :D :D :D
After two decades of male toys (esp. Lego and PM) in our house, it is time to build something for us women!
