and BP2006, I love to wipe off the tattoos on the pirates...I've been waiting for his bare torso until now

Then prepare yourself to whipe off his *** as well!
He (sadly) hasn't a completely bare back, but comes with a ...hum... black bottom on the lower end of his back.  ::)

Resistance is futile, you will be boarded!

thanks very much Customizer-Andi & Hadoque

for a long time, I have thought about the need for blackin-out (or even cutting off, but then the tail of the internal skeleton will be visible)
so that their bodies dont hang over their trousers  :P
but it looks like Geobra also think this is necessary (even though this pirate already has a long vest to hide his skin-coloured *tail*...do you think /geobra antipates children removing their long coats?

anyway they did not black out the 'tails' of the bare-chested egyptian an africans perhaps light skin colour is too obvious? ???

why only blacken the back portion...why not blacken the sides too (did they?)....so Hadogue...I will not wipe their blackened tails  :P

Playmogal asked about these pirates i mentioned in my thread...please allow me to put a link in my thread so that she can follow our discussion about these new bare-chested & tattooed pirates here

These tatooes aren't too bad on the pirates, but it would be great if they would put out more plain torsos like Speedo Dad's, wouldn't it! I hate to remove anything printed from any figures because it always looks like junk afterwards! I don't seem to have the magic touch when it comes to removing print, Pgal!
After two decades of male toys (esp. Lego and PM) in our house, it is time to build something for us women!

Pgal, many a times I plan to remove printing on klickies but PM being so expensive by the time they reach me...I dont have the heart to erease them...but all these wishing and waiting and planning and hesitating does help me go through months if not years waiting for the right part to come along...
i have been hoping for a naked light skinned torso for years before speedo dad came out...and its still very much against my own rules to rub off any prints...thats why i'm not really crazy over these new pirates...if i have one, it'll take a mad moment for me to be crazy enough to rub off their tattoos...all these original prints are very precious to me (even those parts I spray, must be parts which i have many of, and also after thinking about spraying them for months or even years  :P
(the speedo-dad is a temporary relief for me while i wait on...sorry if i'm straying out of point PFs!  ;D)

Got this magazine with the pirate yesterday.... I am very disappointed... Although I love the pirate, as soon as I took him off his blister pack, I realised his hat is so loose that it can leave the hair very easily. It cannot be wedged!!! It constanlty falls off the hair, unless the pirate is set up for display  :(
Just out of curiosity, I'll get another one today and see if the same happens...

I got this pirate during the summer holidays, the hat was indeed flimsy and i didnt like at all this pistol version, it look lego if you ask me. The plastic is again the plastic found in new klikcies , dont like feels a bit cheapish if you ask , to my eyes it is like having a good wine and then mix it with water  :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: especially when you compare it to the very old klikcies

Just got a second one, and thank goodness, the hat sits just fine on his head  :yippee:
Good! Now I can keep one intact and customise the other  ;D
