lacquer-red mask on new samurai special

after rejecting the new samurai helmets, I finally bought 2 
...they do look better with a mempo(mask) added, maybe i should buy his body with his 'cage' armour after all 

...I'm sure Geobra is planning to use this helmet/theme again, perhaps this will inspire them to at least paint a red Mempo on their next samurai's head...what do you all think?

I have the red Mempo you sent me displayed on one of my samuraïs with the new kabuto. The figure does look a lot more genuine with this mask on, that's for sure.

and PrimusPilus (I like your avatar's hood...I just bought a black and a brown one)
I used the older yellow gas mask but to get a lacquer-red, I used a lesser known japanese spray can that looks sort-of-transparent and so needs quite many coats to attain this blood red and yet lacquered effect. (i suppose if Geobra were to print theirs, they'll just look solid red which is good enough...no complaints)

Like you I have not been a fan of these helmets,
I recently bought a klicky, and though the helms are a little better in real life,
I still don't like them too much.
But I think they might actually be *good* with the mempo!
Incredible, he really does look very nice!
