sorry if this is already somewhere, but I haven't been able to find it...

How do you convert a playmo head into a bald head... i've seen it on a lot of customs... but what do you use?

I actually don't remember ever seeing a bald custom, but I would love to see how someone has done this too. We have way too many klickys with full heads of hair.

It seems like it should work... i was just hoping there was an easier way... that didn't sacrifice hair... but i can always use red hair pieces for it... i might have to try it... even if it was a joke  >:D

Sand down the areas around the head with no hair on it. This will give it some "tooth". Use milliput to form the head. Then sand to final shape as per using milliput. (check out scale figure making using milliput online or in a good model soldier book).

Then you can create your own post-apocalyptic skinhead crew.  ;D

Or just some bootboys to set around your pub display. Or the ice-cream parlour super set.

ok i was hoping to avoid putty and stuff so i think i might try out shaving down a hairpiece... just out of curiosity... then if that doesnt work i'll try the other, but my intent is to make one that works like a hairpiece so if i can manage the shaving... that might be the best bet for a transferable bald head

You won't be able to paint some hair. The softer plastic ones are polyethylene and paint won't adhere.

Check out how to use milliput. It's not hard to do.
