Thanks guys,
If I ever do this again it will be a smaller field - 16 instead of 32 knights. The 32 size is just too much work to do more than once every few years.

I am tempted to try doing a tournament in Rutileo...
But I don't really have the parts needed to do something like that. :-\
Maybe in a few years. :)

It doesn't have to be too bad as far as setting. Most of the event was photographed on my small set that was just a wall with a few things in the background and the jousting wall.
If anyone does decide to do it I have a spreadsheet worked out to help keep track of scores and so on.

There are definitely some things I would have as rules for any future events from a practical standpoint.

1. No clip on arm armor.  It doesn't allow enough hand movement to get the lance across the horse. I had to use sticky tack to keep those on in a number of cases.

2. Only use modern lances. The old style lances are shorter than the modern ones and it can be difficult if the guy with the short one is supposed to hit the head but the one with a long lance only hits the shield.

I really think we need a new scoring system that allows for a single die roll that is converted directly into action. Right now you add together two dice that have been rolled (electronically) and then convert that to a points score. It's cumbersome
There were a lot of head hits, too many I think. It would be better to just have it be body hit and the person doing photography can decide where on the body the hit happens.

I dream of  hosting  a jousting tournamnet at Krull,( not a dragon jousting as i said in teh past that will be very difficult to set etc on the air i suppose !!!)  but this will have to happen after my Knight Lore epic concludes and give the exceptional high standards of setting up and photos etc i will most certainly cant do this on my own . Hopefully however all needed arrangements will tkae place so i can host a jousting tournament at Krull in 2012 . The Marketon tournament has given me a lot of ideas and more importantly answers as how to do this , the behind the scenes and intro thread were most helpful

I have someone in mind who can help me ( not hard to guess i suppose ) if he can we shall create a tournament in 2012 that after marketon will have some very high standards to meet . NAd hopefully there will be more than 32 participants, i dream of a tournament in Krull with no less that 50 or so ( if possible of course) and maybe more hits needed for a winner . Just some thoughts that i am sure people like Tim can help/advice upon   ;D ;D ;D

The League Standings list is up to date after Marketon. Eventually I will get individual pages for the new knights added but it comes after the regular Animobil site update I am still working on.

League pages are here
