but I am pretty sure my very first steck, which was also the tower, but bought in 1988, does not have the ''little bumps'' ...
I have this one also boxed and new, I bought it brand new, so i will check....

Wow - I'd love to see all the pictures on the boxes!  The sides art especially.  As well as the back art.  Even on Playmodb.org  and Collectobil the pictures are few and far between ...

I will take picures of the boxes. I have the v1 and v2 version of the tailer house (the second version in wrap) and of the inn....below the pictures of the 3440 version 2

the second and third pictures show you the 344x and 3450 building....the second version of the tailor house 3440 and of the prison tower 3445 are not on the pictures

THANK YOU!!!

I would love to see the back of the boxes too.

Are the pictures different from the v1 to v2 boxes?

(I would imagine so as this shows so many children and they weren't available 'till 1980.)

yes they are, the box v2 shows the polystyrene whereas the v1 shows something like that (3444)...
I remember when I was 6years old I was using the pictures of the kids to built my tower and not the sheet instruction....It was a good idea to do something like that....and now system X are what they are...difficult to assemble for a kid (the red and yellow parts only) :shhhh:...but this is not the subject of this thread

I did take some pictures of the 3440 tailor house. Let me know if it is easy to understand or if you need more information.
