A couple of years ago, I gave chris a small claw machine, a tabletop version of the classic arcade ones
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Claw_crane because he loves claw machines and is quite good with them. Shortly before our wedding, he won a teddy bear in a wedding dress and veil out of one for me, which was really sweet.

So I gave him one to play with at home, made for putting candy in. Well, what do you do with a claw machine?

For a while it had candy in it, but that got old, so for a while it was stuffed with some small stuffed animals. But yesterday it occurred to me, why on earth do I not have playmobil in the claw machine? Chris loved the idea, so we decided to use it to display some vintage klickys from my childhood, sheriff, trapper, zookeeper, all kinds of old-style classic klickys that we don't really use, as well as a few old animals. I set it up this morning, and chris will see it when he gets home (if he doesn't check in from his phone and see it here first.

) Best part is, it works! i managed to "win" that blue cowboy out of it a few minutes ago, and i'm usually terrible with those things!
