Seaside village
« on: July 14, 2011, 11:45:45 »
Here are some pictures of the village I made a few days ago. It isn't nearly as sophisticated as most of the stuff I've seen on the forum, but I'm new at this + my photography skills are non-existent  :-[

My favourite item has always been the western train station with the sash windows. I used it as a dock here. I think it goes well with the pier I've just purchased
Enjoy

These are some close-ups. I love the qypsy camp my boyfriend made with some of the left-overs ;D
NB. I see the quality of the photos is quite horrible. Is that because I've reduced them to fit 100 KB each? Can I improve that somehow?

This is absolutely lovely! You have so many houses! And i love those new harbor sets. can't wait til we can get those here. Thanks for showing us!

About the pics, you can host them on photo bucket (just create a free account, and then use the bulk uploader; it's much easier than uploading one at a time) and re-size them there which will not mess up the quality at all. Then once you have them re-sized, copy the image code (it will start with IMG) and paste it in your post. Then the pic will be imbedded in the post and a good quality. The size I like to use is 640x480. Hope that helps!

A very pleasant seaside village (or with those large mansions maybe a town) - certainly a great place to stay for a holiday or, better still, to live all the time.

Your photos look OK to me although the first close-up is possibly a bit underexposed which has made it slightly grainy.

A host like photobucket is a good way of posting larger pictures, but don't make them too large, not everyone has fast broadband and large pictures can take an age to show up on a post.
