I was near TRU today so I checked some prices (I might even have bought a few things  :-[)

Anyway, the sale is stated as "up to 75% off" so that means 25% off the current price (half of original price) for clearance items rather than 25% off the original price.  For example:

4240 Pyramid is now $48.73 ($64.98 less 25%)
4244 Chariot is now $7.48 ($9.98 less 25%)
4825 Firefighters Water Pump is now $11.23 ($14.98 less 25%) - they aso had the 4822 Fire Chief with Car on clearance but I didn't check the price
4345 Vet with Car is now $8.23 ($10.98 less 25%)

These were the only Playmobil clearance items available at my local TRU.   :)

Ugh. I called 5 TRU stores within a 90 mile radius and all of them were out of the pyramid, Sphynx, and tomb   :( Sorry for venting, but if I have to pay full price, Aaron will never let me buy the rest of the set  ::)

Even if you can't find the sets you want at a TRU near you, also try Tuesday Morning, TJMaxx, and Marshall's in the near future - they often get the clearance stuff a little later so you might have some luck, especially this fall once the stores start setting up for the Christmas holiday.  ::)   Also, if it's not too much of a pain, keep checking at TRU as there may be some sets that are returned.
