Thank you so much for your heart warming comments dear Friends

Most of you will understand that one has to make difficult choices at times and the second half of 2012 was about focusing on the sadly boring but necessary serious aspects of life and I just cannot wait to finally sit down and immerse myself again in the ideal and ever happy world which I associate with our favorite hobby.

I have been serious enough for a lifetime and I just want to shout now at the top of my lungs that I want to have FUN AGAIN, for heaven sakes

I hope that you are all well and just like myself looking forward to Springtime  :cloud9:

I will come around very soon and in the meantime, I am sending you my loving thoughts

Karim :)

Dear Friends

I would like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for welcoming me again with opened arms after such a long absence, and I thought that the best way to say Thank You, would be through new pictures. As the weather forecast of this temperamental winter is set to fair this week-end, I intend to shoot a serie of pictures outside on the Springtime theme and inside on the Carnival of Venice theme, starring some of the wonderful customs created by our friends of the Playmo Community last year

Please stay tune  ;)...

Have a great week-end !

Karim :)

A big Hello to Everyone

From the Luxembourg where I am living since this spring and a summer spent working, I am finally able to pause and breathe as I had the feeling of being constantly on a runaway train ever since I left my home in France to open a new page in the 3 Borders Country ( Luxembourg, France & Germany )

I have wished so much to find a good job and I was granted beyond expectations as I have a carte blanche to manage a hotel and two restaurants, including a gastronomic one on a day to day basis with a flat overlooking a 18 holes golf course, so I was lucky indeed. As far as exploring is concerned, I spent a few days back in June going to the beautiful historic towns of Metz, Sarrebrücken and Nancy so close, and I hope to take you there through a photographic journey together with this Grand Duchy of Luxembourg which has welcomed me...

I have just made a quick journey back home to get some warmer clothes in view of a much colder autumn and winter than I used to experience in England and I had the pleasure of seeing again the mansion of Regent St and all its happy little victorians with a little disappointment though, the décor of Regent St got dampened as stored at the bottom of a stone wall resulting in all the pavement and grass areas being beyond repair. Thanks God that I thought of putting away all the electric components including the transformator and lamps as well as the plants which are safe. This is the sad result of rushed departures  :'(

And who says cold and long winter says a hobby to keep one's hands and mind busy and what better hobby than working again on the Regent St project ?

This is only a thought for the moment, but I felt such happiness and fullfillment when creating the decor and having all these little characters evolving through endless tribulations on the set of the Garden Party on Regent St that I very much wish to continue the adventure even if that means recreating part of the decor  ;)...

Here are my thoughts as we are reaching the end of a brilliant summer which I hope has delighted you with its warmth and generous sun.

If I decide to reopen the door to Regent St, I will most certainly ask our Friend Emma Jane and her creative talent to bring that special little touch of magic.

See you around soon,

Your Friend Karim :)
