Personally, I agree I don't care where it is made... but I do care about screws.. not a fan... and strange or overused colors. :)
Someday, I will organize my stuff, I promise.

Generally PM made is China has not the same quality.  :-\ That's the only reason why people care about where a set is made... me thinks!

It is a different mold for a hull entirely no just a modified dingy as i expected...

Interesting! Could you perhaps show a picture of the hull?

Resistance is futile, you will be boarded!

Here we go... I put a schooner hull and the dingy for comparison

Seeing hull comparisons like that certainly show it to be bigger than the box art images had me thinking the size would be.

The broader hull should be more stable in the water too (and allow more deck area for room).

I'll see what I can do... might not be much though since I was technically not allowed to open that yet  :shhhh: the one true downside to being the stay-at-home dad...

Thanks for the pics!

So... we have yet another class of Playmo-ships.
Now I'm not sure what to think of this boat... I don't like the colours very much and I already have plenty of 1-masted schooners and dinghies... on the other hand, it is a new design... 8}

Would it be intended as a cheaper successor to the schooner-series?  ::)

I would be very interested in learning how much it costs in the stores.  Was it Target you got it at.  ???
