They look great!  I don't know about anyone else but I would call them a parade of shops or in the case of my geography teacher a crescent of shops (no-one in my class knew what he was on about so he had to bring one up on google earth  :-[).

Anyway, joining them together is a really cool idea.   :yup:

"Parade of shops" was a term that came to my mind, although I think it tends to refer more to a row of shops in the suburbs, often built to go with a housing estate.  I guess a "crescent of shops" is what they'd call it in Bath - a posh parade of shops!  Mind you, looking up "crescent of shops" on Google images, they just seem to be a curved parade of shops.   ???

... I would like to borrow this idea for my street at Kirkbean Exhibition - ...

Be my guest - there's no copyright or something like that  ;)
Only, if you do, I want to see the pics

... I think with a flower shop you aren't going to be able to keep those shelves together the way they are in the set. Flowers would be a good thing for a kiosk, or an open corner. ...

At least not easily - but I am working on a few ideas. This new shop from DS might give some options:

As for the name. Here in the Netherlands we just call it a shopstreet ("winkelstraat") ... Perhaps I should add a streetname - something like "PB Head street"

Lovely! You could add apartments on top of the shops! And don't be afraid to make some diversity, In real live two shops would never look the same. DS germany also released a new shop building this year.
I've been thinking about something similar, but never get around to buying the building.I always end up buying more steck houses .

Parade of shops? ??? That must be a British term? I've never heard it before. Around here a row of stores is a strip center or strip mall.

I've never heard of either of those terms.  I'd have thought that maybe certain areas of Las Vega might have strip malls.   :)

My grandma used to live in an appartment in Spain which was purpose built for holiday/second homes.  The row of restaurants, bars and shops there was known as the strip...I guess that's why-it came from America.  We just used to think it was funny.  Going on holiday to Spain only to go and have scampi and chips from an English run cafe down at the strip!

If that was here, we would think it was in the right light district  ::)

Hmmm, in the UK it would be the red light district.  How different life is in The Netherlands from the UK!

Nice display of shops!  Do you have the shelf hanging on the wall?  It's difficult to find places to display things :)
