Beautiful paint job, I agree with Gaston the roof color was a great choice.

I'm about to venture into painting for the first time...I'm a little nervous!

This thread mentions Krylon Fusion spray paint.  Is seems to have been in reference to big pieces. Is that still the right thing to use if I'm doing small pieces - torsos and arms?

Is spray paint recommended over using a brush (and I guess some kind of model paint?)  I know nothing, any advice would be great.

Does it matter if you have different coloured torso and arms to begin with - will they turn out the same looking after the painting or will you be able to tell if one part was beige and the other black to begin? I guess if you use enough paint...?

Brush for small parts, spray for big ones. Painting figures is a very very difficult job, i painted about a dozen houses but never dared to do such a thing. And don't forget the varnish in the end. Anyway, good luck! ;)

I never painted a full torso or something like that... Only smallish details. I used acrylic paints (most belong to my sister and are like 100 years old. Ok, not 100, but may be close to 15-20.... uhm.)

Are there no "original" parts you can use?

Do show us the result, and the progress, please!

I used krylon fusion to paint a tiger green... worked very well. But I use nail polish for detail work most of the time now. ;)
Someday, I will organize my stuff, I promise.

I'll start another customs thread soonish, I hope, and try to remember to put them in there.  Haven't gotten around to making the armor for battlecat yet though

Sadly tahra, there are no original parts in the colour I need! That would be so much easier!

I'm bumping this, I hope that's the right thing....

I'm planning on painting a building, but it will consist of different wall colours. Should I spray the whole thing white first to give a better base?

I've only painted Playmobil once before, and that was some white walls that had yellowed badly. I just used ordinary spray paint, probably from Wilkinsons, so maybe that was the wrong thing to do?
